The BC Hockey League revealed its three stars of the week on Monday, and a pair of Cranbrook Bucks were included.

Bucks forward Noah Quinn was named second star of the week, while defenseman Bauer Morrissey received an honourable mention.

Quinn scored four goals in Cranbrook’s two games over the weekend to earn second star honours.

He scored the game-winning goal in Friday night’s 2-0 win over Wenatchee, setting the franchise’s new all-time record for goals with the 38th of his career in the process.

In Sunday’s 5-2 victory over the Vernon Vipers, Quinn tallied a hat-trick which included a second straight game-winner.

The 19-year-old from Nelson, BC is up to 14 goals and 12 assists for 26 points through 33 games this season.

He is the Bucks all-time leader in goals with 41 and points with 85 in his 91-game BCHL career to this point.

Quinn also ranks second all-time in assists with the Bucks, just two behind teammate and captain Rhys Bentham after this past weekend’s games.

Morrissey’s honourable mention comes following a four-assist weekend, tallying a pair of helpers in each of Cranbrook’s wins.

The 20-year-old from Skaneatles, NY is up to four goals and 17 assists for 21 points in 35 games this season.

He has nine goals and 34 assists for 43 points through 81 games in his BCHL career.

The Bucks are off this upcoming weekend while the BCHL holds its 60th anniversary all-star event.

Cranbrook will be back in action on Friday, Jan. 27 when it hosts the West Kelowna Warriors.
