The Cranbrook Bucks announced on Friday that they have acquired forward Jeremy Tremblay in exchange for Will Blackburn and future considerations.
Tremblay comes to Cranbrook from the Hawkesbury Hawks of the Central Canada Hockey League, where he scored nine goals and added 11 assists for 20 points in 19 games.
The 20-year-old from Orford, QC also spent most of last season with the Hawks, while spending time in the BCHL with the Coquitlam Express as well.
In 44 total games combined between Coquitlam and Hawkesbury last season, Tremblay tallied nine goals and 13 helpers for 22 points.
Blackburn was acquired by the Bucks in a Nov. 22 trade with Vernon that saw forward Ethan Sundar go to the Vipers, with Blackburn and future considerations coming back the other way.
He didn’t play any games with Cranbrook, and had no points in 12 games with Vernon this season.
