The first edition of the Cranbrook Bucks annual Spring Development Camp kicks off today at Western Financial Place.
The camp consists of four practices and four games featuring 2004 to 2007-born players looking to develop their game, affiliate with the Bucks, or earn a roster spot next season.
Practices will run Friday night and Saturday morning, followed by games kicking off Saturday night and Sunday morning.
The schedule for the event can be seen below:
The team’s inaugural spring camp was announced for May 1-3, 2020, but was forced to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Then in 2021, the BCHL’s regular season ran from April 2 to May 9 following a two-week quarantine due to COVID, essentially eliminating the possibility of a spring camp last year.
