Six different goal scorers lead Bucks to first-ever win against Wenatchee

The Cranbrook Bucks received production all throughout their lineup on Friday night, en route to beating the Wenatchee Wild for the first time ever.

Cranbrook enjoyed contributions from six different goal scorers, while four Bucks chipped in multi-point nights.

Luke Pfoh was the game’s first star after leading the way with a goal and two assists, while Noah Quinn added three helpers himself.

Quinn now has six goals and 11 assists for 17 points during a 10-game point-streak.

Tyson Dyck and Liam Hansson also contributed multi-point efforts with a goal and an assist each.

Kellan Hjartarson also scored for the Bucks, while AJ Vasko added a helper in addition to a strong game physically.

Cranbrook also received offense from its defense, as both Declan Ride and Cam Kungle scored in the win.

Kungle is now on a four-game point-streak, recording a goal and three assists in that time, while Ride has two goals and five points in his last four games.

Goaltender Nathan Airey was solid for the Bucks, making 31 saves on 34 shots for his 15th win of the season.

It was Cranbrook’s first-ever win against the Wild, after suffering a trio of 3-2 regulation time losses in Wenatchee so far during the season series:

Eight games (1-3-0)

The two teams will square off again on Saturday night in Cranbrook, and then play three more times in the final month of the regular season.
