On Monday, the BC Hockey League announced its three stars from the last seven days, and Cranbrook Bucks forward Noah Quinn was included.

Quinn was named the league’s third star of the week, after posting four goals and four assists for eight points in three games.

His strong weekend began on Friday night when the Bucks began their three-game road trip in Merritt.

Quinn picked up an assist on back-to-back Bucks goals — less than two minutes apart — in the second period of a 4-0 win over the Centennials.

Then on Saturday, Quinn exploded for what will likely be a career night for him in the BCHL.

He scored four goals and added an assist for five points in Cranbrook’s 6-3 win over the West Kelowna Warriors.

It was the first four-goal game in Bucks franchise history — and just the second five-point game, after AJ Vasko put up three goals and two assists against Trail on May 7, 2021.

On Sunday, Quinn picked up an assist in the Bucks 5-4 loss to Penticton to extend his personal point-streak to nine games.

He has tallied six goals and eight assists for 14 points in that time.

Much like his four-goal game, Quinn’s nine-game point-streak is a Bucks franchise record — passing their leading-scorer Tyson Dyck’s best stretch of seven straight contests with a point.

Quinn now sits second on the team and 19th in league scoring with 21 goals, 23 assists, and 44 points through 42 games this season.
